About the artist...

I’m a fine artist, illustrator and graphic designer currently living near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My work has received a number of awards and has appeared in publications including Best of Pennsylvania Artists and Artisans and Best of America Watercolor Artists.

After college I had the opportunity to work for several large and small companies as a commercial artist, draftsman, technical illustrator, and graphic designer before turning to fine art drawing and painting in the 1980’s while living in Texas.  I began exhibiting work with several art galleries in the Dallas area, including Galerie International. 

After my husband and I made the cross-country move to Pittsburgh I shifted my priority to raising our two sons.  During that time I served on various boards and committees, volunteered in our community and schools, and attended and taught art classes and workshops.  I began exhibiting and selling my paintings again through arts organizations and galleries in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

While I prepare for yet another cross country move in June, I'm retraining myself in upgraded graphic arts and web development software to keep up with technology. In addition I do photography and photo editing.

I've put painting on hold prior to moving but currently have a number of finished and framed paintings in my studio (florals, landscapes, figures). Now is a great time to purchase work from me before I leave the Pittsburgh area.
